Implants are titanium-based dental materials placed on the bone where the tooth loss occurred and act as the root of the natural tooth.
The implant treatment is performed in order to restore function and aesthetics in patients experiencing tooth loss for any reason.
Individuals of all ages who experienced tooth loss for any reason and completed their bone development can receive implant treatment. A sufficient amount of bone is required in the relevant area in order to perform the implant treatment. In cases where the bone tissue is not sufficient, the area is made ready for implant surgery through bone grafts.
Your new teeth are placed within 3 months with a standard procedure (recommended). This process may change in some uncommon cases.
In cases where it has been at least three months since the tooth loss occurred;
First appointment (6 days); Meeting the dentist, radiological examination, intraoral examination, systemic evaluation (Diabetes, osteoporosis, cardiac diseases, etc.)
2nd Day; placement of implant through a surgical method
3rd and 5th Day; evaluation of the surgical area
6th Day; final check-up
(a temporary tooth may be placed with the approval of the dentist upon the request of the patient if needed)
Second appointment (14 Days) after 3 months; radiological and intraoral examination of the area
2nd Day; placement of the gum shapers
5th Day; check-up and commencement of the planning of your smile design
7th Day; measurements and commencement of the production of the teeth
9th Day; intraoral rehearsal of the teeth and evaluation
13th Day; placement of the teeth over the implants
14th Day; final check-up and farewell
It is recommended under normal circumstances that implant placement is performed after a minimum of 3 months following the occurrence of tooth loss. In case the bone structure in the area where tooth extraction will be performed is suitable, the implants are placed within the same session. The permanent teeth can be placed within 72 hours with these special implants.
