What is Pediatric Dentistry?
Dentists who carry out all kinds of treatment and preventive dentistry procedures applied to children from birth to the age of 13-14 when all teeth have completed their replacement, and who have received special training on this subject, are called pedodontists (pediatric dentists), and this branch of dentistry is called pedodontics.
What Is Its Purpose?
The primary aim of pediatric dentistry is to take measures to prevent these problems from occurring rather than to treat the problems that have arisen. The procedures applied for this purpose are called Preventive Dentistry.
