What Are The Characteristics of A Healthy Gum?

Healthy gums have a pinkish color. It extends along in a firm way through the gum line and completely surrounds the teeth. Gum bleeding is the most significant sign showing that there is a problem in this area. Accordingly, healthy gums do not bleed, ache, or tingle.

 Main Causes of Gum Bleeding

Gum bleeding may be caused by some diseases or may occur periodically. Gingivitis and periodontitis, also called gum inflammation, are the main diseases that cause gum bleeding. Gingivitis is a form of inflammation when it does not reach the bone tissue and periodontitis is another form when it reaches the bone tissue. If the gum bleeding is not caused by inflammation, other factors causing it can be listed as follows:

–  Making traumatic moves during dental care
