Zirconium Crowns is a natural teeth coating method that yields the most effective results in dental aesthetics and is successful in terms of durability and tissue compatibility. Tooth loss is compensated through zirconium crowns while a healthy smile is ensured and an outcome that is as natural as the individual’s own teeth is achieved. A white-colored base material is used in zirconium crowns instead of metals.
How is Zirconium Crown (Zirconium Coating) treatment performed?
1st Session: Following the determination of the zirconium crown treatment in your first examination, the teeth cutting process is performed under local anesthesia, your measurements are taken, and temporary crowns are attached. The right color of porcelain is determined in conformity with your teeth.
2nd Session: Base rehearsal is performed for zirconium crowns (this session may be skipped in cases with time limitations).
3rd Session: The completed zirconium crown is rehearsed. Then, it is permanently attached following the final checks on contacts, anatomical and biological conformity, and functional integrity.
All sessions are completed within approximately 7 days in total and you continue your life with your new teeth.
Local anesthesia is used before the teeth cutting process during the zirconium treatment. Then, the temporary crowns are given to the patient. These temporary crowns are important in terms of continuing eating and drinking and not feeling any sensitivity. Accordingly, no pain or ache is felt during the treatment and no hot-cold sensitivity is felt after the treatment. Slight discomfort may be felt by a small number of patients receiving the treatment.
